Product Description

The GE IC800VMCP050 is a servo motor power cable part of the GE VersaMotion servo motor control system. The cable provides electric power from the servo motor output on the servo drive unit, to the power inlet connector at the servomotor.

With a power ranging from 100 Watts to 750 Watts the GE IC800VMCP050 power cable works with servo motors without the holding brake. The cable has a length of 5.0 meters (16.4 feet) and specific features according to its operational limits.

For a cable length of fewer than 30 meters (98.4 feet) the servo motor power cable uses a 600 V rated PTFE wires. The servo motor power cables U, V, and W should be placed in separated conduits from the encoder or other signal cables. To avoid signal interference the distance between them should be of at least 25 cm (12 inches).

As a measure of safety, it is recommended not touching any terminal or cable connected to the servo drive unit within a short period of time after the unit is powered off. To avoid an electric shock from residual voltage it is necessary to wait until the led indicator located on the servo drive unit face is off.
