Product Description

The IC800VMCB030 is a Motor Power Cable and Brake Power Cable kit created by GE FANUC. It is made to power 200-750w VersaMotion Servo Motors and servo amplifiers. The cables are 3 meters long although you may purchase them in different lengths.

The IC800VMCB030 power cable is used to connect the servo motor and the servo’s U, C, and W terminals. If you only need a power cord for your motor, you can order IC800VMCP030, which is just the 3m power cable.

Conduits or trays should be used to help protect power cables from damage and to help prevent any type of noise interference. You may also use a grounded steel plate to provide this separation. It is also recommended that power cables should use 600V PTFE wire and be less than 30m based on the voltage of your device. Please consult the GE product guide for recommendations for power cable wire gauges for your Servo Drive.

There is a small, red LED indicator light on the servo drive called a Charge LED. This indicator is meant to alert you to the possibility of a charge still going through the drive. Sometimes power can still be flowing through the drive even after you have turned it off.  To prevent a shock, it is recommended that you wait for at least ten minutes before you try to move the power cable or try to unplug it.
