Product Description

IC800SSI407RS1 is a VersaMotion S2K controller. Manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation, this controller has an extended I/O and requires an MTR-Series motor with resolver feedback. The specifications are 7.2 amperes and 460 VAC.

Possible accessories include a hand-held I/O simulator for 4.3 and 7.2 amp models, a 100W External Regeneration Resistor Kit, a 225W External Regeneration Resistor Kit, a 300W External Regeneration Resistor Kit, a 1000W External Regeneration Resistor Kit, an Auxiliary I/O Breakout Terminal block (can be panel-mounted or mounted on a DIN rail), and an RS232 to 422/485 Serial Converter for Modbus RTU Communications.

The S2K controller has 1 master axes, 1 auxiliary encoder input, 11 digital inputs, 10 digital inputs/outputs, 2 analog inputs, 1 analog output, 1 serial port, and 1 network connection. The servo motor torque range is 0.84 to 477 lb-in, and the stepping motor torque range is 94-780 oz-in. The S2K series can control a wide torque range within a single model. Users can mix and match any S2K Series servo and stepping controllers from the product family on a single DeviceNet network.

As an S2K controller, IC800SSI407RS1 supports immediate mode operation where an external host can load registers or issue commands that are executed in real time. Up to 100 predefined motion blocks and 4 user defined programs are allowed on the controller. Extensive math and logical operators, program flow control, I/O manipulation, network control, and system status commands are provided by the comprehensive programming language.
