This product is one of the many products from the GE manufactured line, QuickPanel. The QPJPBS201 module is intended as a communication module, able to connect a majority of QuickPanel units to Profibus communications network systems.

General Electric’s branch of industrial automation products was the division responsible for making this. Unfortunately, the QPJPBS201 and the other communication modules, as well as all of the QuickPanel touch screen models, are all entirely out of production.

The QuickPanel modules are a series of human/machine touch screen interfaces. These units all have varying specifications that make each item unique to the workplace that you need it for. The viewing area these units are built with ranges from as small as 5 or 6 inches (from their QuickPanel Junior category). The touch screen panel is also measured from 10.5 inches and as large as 12.1 inches. Given the size differences, the weight ranges as well, from as lightweight as 1.5 pounds, or 0.68 kilograms, and as heavy as 8.4 pounds, or 3.81 kilograms.

The units are now able to keep up entirely with the demands of today’s contemporary workplace. While these models may be regarded as a obsolete, after being repaired, they are just as effective and useful as the most recent products of today.
