This version of the QuickPanel touch screen human/machine interface units is designated the QPI31200C2P. Our staff here at AX Control Inc is able to cover it with a high quality warranty, as this product is no longer in production or sold by General Electric’s industrial automation branch.

One of the larger models, the 10.5 inch touch screen provides operators with up to 4 times the amount of viewing space when compared to one of their 6 inch mini models. The lighting is operated by a super twisted nematic display, and an electroluminescent display. The high contrast ratio that this unit provides makes it able to be read even while in use in a brightly lit room. The resolution that the graphic screen is capable of rendering is 640 by 480 pixels.

The standard physical dimensions of this model give it the largest of the series it’s a part of. Over a foot wide, 12.48 inches/317 millimeters, and 9.57 inches tall, or 243 mm. While integrating into a system, the panel reaches as deep as 3.35 inches, or 85 mm. The weight of the product is increased, thanks to the 4X/12 NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) graded, IP-65 rated protective casing. The case protects the internals of the touch screen model from dust particles, possible water damage, and from blunt force damage. As protected as it is, the model weighs just under 3.5 kilograms, or 7.7 pounds.

An upgraded memory capacity is available for this model, with 2 megabytes, which are formatted into a Flash EPROM mode, or Erasable, Programmable, Read Only Memory.
