The QPI-2D100-C2P is an HMI model included in the General Electric Quickpanel Series of touchscreen displays. This model is a part of their 10.5 inch screens, with a thin film transistor module, displaying the graphical elements in full color (8 solid mode and 8 flashing mode).
Physically, the touch screen panel measures at a width of 8.48 inches, and a height of 6.32 inches, and the graphics have a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The display is shown with the highest contrast ratio possible for this model. With such a high contrast ratio, this makes it possible for operators to utilize the QPI-2D100-C2P while working in a high-intensity, incredibly bright, automation workplace.
The module is outfitted with a Natural Air Convection unit to keep the hardware cooled while in use. A set of hardware ports are integrated as well, for downloads, and a serial input and output ports. To install the module, a front mount attachment is built in. This allows for an easier installation and detaching the module in case repairs are needed.
A number of optional interfaces are available for the QPI-2D100-C2P, such as all of the major programmable logic controllers. The AB Remote I/O, AB DH Plus, Modbus Plus, and Genius I/O are capable to be connected via an interface plug. A printer unit is also capable of interfacing with this model. This ensures that a hard copy of any reports are printed on site. The unit is fully protected by a NEMA #250 graded encasing suit, with a 4X/12 grade, and an IP-65 rating.
