The 6VAF343005 is a 5 HP AF300 GE Drive from the AF 300 line of products. This unit is a three-phase 9.5 amp unit rated at 380-460VAC. The unit comes with a standard Keypad panel display that is mounted to the front of the unit with two screws. This keypad is removable and can be mounted away from the unit using an optional cable.
The 6VAF343005’s operation display will show the user information like line speed, synchronous rpm, output current and voltage, and output frequency. Frequency should be set when the unit is not in Program or Run mode. The unit also has the ability to display fault codes like overcurrent, undervoltage, alarms, link errors, or setting errors. The keypad has a Charge lamp LED that lights when a DC link capacitor voltage is active.
The 6VAF343005 is designed for use at elevations below 1000 meters where the unit is installed in an indoor location away from direct sunlight. The unit should not be exposed to oil mist, dust, or corrosive gases. Do not use in locations where vibration will significantly affect the unit, or where temperatures will exceed 50 degrees Celsius. Ventilation covers may need to be removed or additional cooling measures used in temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius to maintain proper operating temperatures. The unit is designed to mount on a panel.
