The General Electric Fuji Electric 6KM$243001N1A1 is a 1 horsepower AF-300 Micro-$aver II drive. This 3 phase drive can input 480 Volts and can output 380-480 Volts with a frequency range of 0.2-400Hz. A Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) ‘Torque Vector’ is integrated into the drive, allowing for a higher starting torque. The Output Current Carrier Frequency registers a 2.5 when operating on low and a 2.1 when operating on high.

A NEMA 1 enclosure surrounds the drive, making it suitable for indoor installation only. With the enclosure, the drive measures 6.22in (H) x 5.68in (W) x 4.29in (D) and weighs 4.2 pounds. The front cover of the drive is designed to be removed, allowing the user to access controls and power wiring with ease.

Drives in the series that were housed in NEMA 1 enclosures were not originally manufactured with a factory installed keypad panel, rather selling the appropriate keypad (6KM$2KP1) separately. Most units now, though, can be purchased with a keypad panel already installed into the drive. The keypad panel is used for both drive operation and programming. Included on the panel are 6 dual function keys and an LCD digital display. The 6 keys include a FUNCTION Key (Data Key), a PROGRAM Key (Reset Key), UP/DOWN Keys, a RUN Key, and a STOP key.

Proper storage is imperative to maintaining a working drive. An ambient temperature between -10℃ and 50℃, or 14℉ and 122℉, should be maintained in the facility housing 6KM$243001N1A1.
