The General Electric Fuji Electric 6KG1143040X9B1 is a 40 horsepower drive. This 3 phase variable frequency drive is a member of the AF-300 G11 drive series. It is capable of inputting 460 volts with a frequency of 50/60Hz and outputting 380-460 volts with a frequency range of 0.1-400Hz. 6KG1143040X9B1 has a rated output current of 45 Amps. A factory installed keyboard is mounted on the front of the unit. 

This drive casing has an IP rating of IP00, with the open enclosure not offering protection from liquids or solids. The drive measures 21.7in (H) x 13.4in (W) x 10.0in (D) and weighs 64 pounds. The front face plate can be easily removed by loosening the 6 mounting screws that are securing it to the main unit. The removal of the front plate exposes the keypad panel, which is easily removable by loosening the 2 mounting screws securing it to the unit.

As it is in an open enclosure, it is important to follow all storage requirements to avoid damages and accidents. Insulating the drive is recommended to prevent moisture and condensation from penetrating the unit. Moisture and condensation can cause capacitor corrosion, resulting in malfunctions.
