Product Description

The DS215UCVBG1AG is a circuit board designed and manufactured by General Electric.  This Genius Controller module is designed with an ethernet connector, several LED status indicators, multiple configuration switches, and a hard disk drive connector. 

The DS215UCVBG1AG board is designed for mounting within a VME rack. UCVB boards require either two or four rack spaces.  The rear edge of the board is designed with plug-in connectors to allow connectivity and communication between the circuit board and other components within the rack system.   Operators can easily monitor processes using the status LEDs located on the front of the controller, which will allow users to see if the board passes checks during startup and whether it is processing as it should. 

The second section of LED indicators on the board is used for error identification.  These LEDs provide the operator with information on code errors that can be looked up in manuals or user guides.  

LED indicators are located within the front faceplate.  This faceplate includes clips that will hold the board in place after installation.  It is marked with the GE logo and with the board’s id number.
