DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A GE Mark V Drive Board Module 

The DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A is a circuit board component that was manufactured by General Electric to be used as part of their Mark V gas/steam turbine management system.  The MKV was part of GE’s Speedtronic line, which began in the late 1960s and continued its development throughout the century.  While MKV circuit boards are no longer available as OEM parts, they can be purchased from AX Control as fully tested and refurbished units. 

The DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A is a Drive Board module.  Like other DS215 boards, the DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A offers additional firmware or hardware as compared to a like-named DS200 board.   

The DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A can be easily mounted using factory-made drill holes located in each board corner.  Additional drill holes are located along board edges and within the body of the board.   The edges of the unit are marked with lettering and/or numbering for easy alignment and carries several codes for identification purposes. 

The DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A is populated by a vertically mounted auxiliary board.  Located in the bottom left corner of the board, the auxiliary is placed next to the location of a second optional auxiliary board that mounts parallel to the surface of the board.  

The DS215DMCAG2AZZ02A has multiple connectors, including a single female vertical connector, four male vertical pin cable connectors, and three header connectors.   The board has two heat sinks, an inductor coil, fourteen jumper switches, fuse components, a push-button reset switch, LED indicators,  and transistors.  It carries over fifty integrated circuits, over twenty resistor network arrays, and various diodes, resistors, and capacitors made from materials including polyester vinyl, ceramic, and aluminum or tantalum electrolytic.    For additional information, including important information about handling and installation, please consult tech support products from GE like manuals and data sheets.
