Product Description
The DS2020PDMAG3 component is part of the Mark V Speedtronic system. The Mark V is one of the later versions of this popular industrial turbine control system from General Electric that went through several iterations, starting with the MKI in the 1960s. This component is also part of the EX2000 PWM digital regulator system designed for use with brushless generator excitation systems.
The DS2020PDMAG3 functions as a power distribution module. The module weighs approximately 32 pounds before the addition of internal and external boxing materials. This means your shipping weight will be different than the product weight. The DS2020PDMAG3 has been discontinued by the OEM but is typically in stock and available for purchase here at AX Control.
The DS2020PDMAG3 is marked with the GE logo and includes a flange and screw to allow for mounting. The unit has wiring and a connector to allow for the unit to be mounted into and connected to other components.
The EX2000 PWM regulator is designed to control ac terminal voltage or to control the field of the rotating brushless exciter. PT failure detection in this system requires two sets of PT inputs and offers automatic tracking between regulators (both ac and dc) for bumpless transfer in both directions.
More information about this particular component, about the EX2000 system, or about the Mark V, in general, can be sourced from original manuals or user guides from General Electric. While these would have been supplied to you with your OEM purchase, we understand that sometimes paperwork can get lost or misplaced. Let us know if you need replacements when you call to place an order.
