The DS2020LPPB320A is a component of the GE Mark V Speedtronic system. The component functions as a GE Line protection module and is one of several protection modules available within AX Control’s inventory.
The DS2020LPPB320A is built within an L-shaped metal carrier. This carrier includes a clear top shield to protect the user and the components, as well as factory-drilled flanges to allow for mounting.
Internal components on the DS2020LPPB320A include several circuit boards that are connected to each other using wires and other connectors. These boards are populated with a number of different components including stab-on connectors, jumper switches, resistors, terminal blocks, capacitors, diodes, and relays. The unit also has several fuses mounted in the lower part of the components.
It is important to disconnect all voltage from the board before servicing. This is to protect both you and the component.
The Mark V turbine system uses triple-redundant microprocessor (16-bit) controllers with two out of three voting. The MKV offers an independent protective module that is used to synch the turbine generator to the power system and to offer overspeed protection. The unit can be used for all gas turbine control needs, including speed, load control, and temperature control.
