The DS2020ACSAG2 DS2020 board was produced by General Electric as part of the Mark V Series. This board will be used with gas and steam turbine prime mover applications. This board will be used in triple modular redundant or simplex-type redundancy applications. The DS2020ACSAG2 board comes with hardware inputs and outputs such as pulse rate inputs, temperature monitoring, master trip circuits, and more. For all of the different hardware inputs and outputs refer to the GEI-100460 Product Description Instruction Guide. The master trip circuits are used to help with turbine protection through the inputs and outputs from the Mark V systems.
Some basic features of the DS2020ACSAG2 are the ability to be used with triple modular redundant architecture, the ability to run simple diagnostics testing, and online maintenance; online maintenance allows for the board to be removed and repaired while the remainder of the Mark V series is also online and no power off is required. With diagnostics testing, this board can run routines for background, power-up, and manually initiated diagnostics routines.
The DS2020ACSAG2 board is considered obsolete and is difficult to find on the market at this time but can sometimes be found in used and new surplus capacities.
