Product Description
The GE LAN Power Supply Circuit Board DS200UPLAG1BDA contains two 26-pin connectors, 1 fuse, and 1 toggle switch. The board also has 1 reset button and 1 8-pin connector. The GE LAN Power Supply Circuit Board DS200UPLAG1BDA also features two 26-pin connectors that send and receive control signals through a ribbon cable. The ribbon cable is made up of multiple fine wires that are connected to a plastic connector. The connector plugs into the pins in the connector on the board.
The fine wires are easily broken or disconnected from the ribbon cable so it is best to limit the amount of handling you do to the ribbon cables. Also, when you disconnect the ribbon cable from the board, refrain from holding the ribbon cable portion of the cable. Instead, hold the plastic connector and with one hand. With the other hand, brace the board to keep it from moving and pull the connector from the board. This limits the stress you put on the ribbon cable and reduces the opportunity for breakage.
The board is populated with 17 jumpers and 16 switches. Some of the jumpers and switches are set at the factory and are only for use at the factory for testing purposes. Others can be used to configure the board for use by the site. The information provided with the board provides more information. However, when you replace the board, it is best practice to set the jumpers and switches on the replacement board exactly as they are set on the old board.
