Product Description
The GE LAN Power Supply Circuit Board DS200UPLAG1BBA contains two 26-pin connectors, 1 fuse, and 1 toggle switch. The board also has 1 reset button and 1 8-pin connector. Also, the GE LAN Power Supply Circuit Board DS200UPLAG1BBA has 17 jumpers and 16 switches that are set when the drive is installed. The switches and jumpers enable the board to be configured for use specifically for the operating requirements for the drive. When you replace the drive, you must first set the jumpers and switches exactly like the settings of the old board.
Before you begin the procedure, you first must make sure the current is removed from the drive. Remove the fuses from the power supply that provides current to the drive. Wait about 20 seconds to enable all power to dissipate from the drive. The boards in the drive have components that during normal operation store current and the 20 second wait allows the current to leave the components. When you remove the board from the drive remove the screws and also remove the cables attached to the board. Keep the board from hitting other components and carefully remove the board. Put the board on a clean flat surface, such as a workbench.
The new board arrives at your site in a sealed static protective bag. Only hold the replacement board from the edges and never put pressure on the components on the board. You might accidentally bend a connector pin or jumper pin. Or, you might break off components or otherwise damage the board.
