Product Description
The DS200UCIBG1AAB works within the Mark V turbine control system from General Electric. The Mark V was a third-generation TMR (triple modular redundant) turbine control system released under GE’s Speedtronic umbrella and has now been used for decades for the management and control of industrial gas and steam turbine systems.
The DS200UCIBG1AAB functions as a Mark V motherboard. It lives within the <R> core. Motherboards act as the heart or spine of a system, interconnecting the different components around them. The UCIB motherboard mentioned here includes space for mounting several daughter components, including two μGENI boards. These are used to control a particular class of data transfer between the Genius bus and the Mark V host. There’s also room for mounting a flash disk and a CPU daughterboard.
The DS200UCIBG1AAB is not software configurable. However, the board does include a single jumper pin (J1) that can be used for the clock enable. Appendix A in the Mark V function manual will provide additional information regarding the hardware jumper screen.
The DS200UCIBG1AAB also accepts pressure transducer signals from the XDSA board. These land on the TBSA terminal board in the <r2> core before moving through the TCSA board to the processor on the UCIB board.
More information about this board and its configuration can be found through original GE manuals and user guides.
