The GE Simplex Trip Board DS200TCTGG1A is populated with 21 plug-in relays. It also has 3 50-pin connectors and 2 12-pin connectors. The IDs assigned to the 50-pin connectors are JLY, JLX and JLZ. The IDs assigned to the 12-pin connectors are JN and JM. The 21 relays that populate the board are fragile and require special consideration. The relays are electromechanical in design and they may be easily damaged. Also, the board can be damaged by static build up. First, when you receive the carton, inspect it for signs of damage caused by shipping. Turn the box over several times and note any dents or scratches or signs of water damage on it. The box is sealed with a security tape that if broken, indicates that the box was tampered with in transit. Use a knife or other sharp instrument to cut through the security tape and open the box. Open the box and gather all the printed material you find inside. This will include information concerning the warranty, information about contacting customer support, other contact information, and technical information concerning the board.
Put aside the packing material on top of the board and you will find the board in a sealed static protective bag. The best practice is to leave it in the shipping box until you plan to install it. Return the packing material and review the written material for information about the replacement board. Keep it in a clean and dry place that is room temperature.
