Product Description
The GE I/O Control Board DS200SIOBH1 features twenty jumpers and 3 switch blocks with 6 switches in each block for a total of 18 switches. It is also populated with one LED and one 40-pin connector. The 18 switches enable you to configure the processing the board performs in the drive. When you obtain the original board the printed information that comes with the board describes the switches and how you can set them to configure the board. Some of the switches have only one supported setting because they are used for testing in the manufacturing process.
When you replace the board you can follow a process to set the switches to match the switches on the old board. If you set the switches to match, the new board will behave the same as the old board in the drive. First, remove all current from the drive by disabling the power supply that provides current to the drive. If you are unfamiliar with that procedure, consult with an installer or electrician who is experienced with the installation. If there are cables connected to the board in the drive, disconnect them by holding the cables by the connector end and gently pulling the cable out of the connector on the board. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that attach the board and make sure you keep the screws together in a safe place. Gently remove the board and keep it from damaging other boards in the drive as you remove it.
