Product Description
The DC2000 DS200SHVIG1A functions as a high voltage interface board and provides signals from the DC2000 drive's bridge to the DCFB or SDCI Board and the PCCA Card. Depending on the DC2000 drive type, the SHVI Board interfaces which whichever of the DCFB or SDCI that is installed. Similarly, the DS200SHVIG1A communicates with whichever revision of the power connect card (PCCA) is present in the drive model.
Voltage signals to the device are passed through this board to be distributed accordingly. The DS200SHVIG1A works by converting voltage signals between -500 and 500 mV into differential frequencies ranging from 0 to 500 kHz. Once converted, the card sends the new frequency signals to the drive’s power supply card. On the board, seventeen user configurable jumpers are available and feature 10:1 current transformers. These configurable jumpers allow for attenuation capabilities depending on the position used during installation. Three onboard LED indicator lights visually alert users should any of the filter fuses blow out.
General Electric provides a list of installation parameters that can be used in DC2000 Drive applications and specific refernce the functionality of the DS200SHVIG1A..A guide to wiring and installation for the SHVI interface board can be found in the manual GEI-100160 as well as in supplemental datasheets. Part availability and repair pricing for this SCR High Voltage Interface Board can be obtained by contacting our sales staff by phone or email.
