Product Description
The GE Power Excitation Board DS200RTBAG5 is an optional board that is installed in the drive cabinet and it features ten relays that are driven either directly from the pilot relays or remotely by the user. The DS200RTBAG5 board is engineered to provide a long service life. However, the board might become defective and need to be replaced. If that is the case and you order the replacement board for the same model it might appear to be different. The connectors might be in different locations on the board and the components might be a different color or a different shape.
However, all versions of the same board are compatible with each other. So you can safely replace a one board with a newer version and it will behave the same in the drive and provide the same functionality.
The RTBA board pluggable circuits are designed with holding clips that fasten the wire securely. To release a wire from the plug, press down on the clip and pull the wire from the connector. To connect a wire to the terminal, press the clip down and insert the wire. The board contains 34 pluggable terminals and you can use them to configure some aspects of the board functionality.
If you need to change the position of a jumper to configure the board, use your fingers or a needle-nose pliers to remove the jumper from the pins. Without putting the jumper down, insert the jumper over the pins that you want to use.
