Product Description
The GE DC Power Connect Board DS200PCCAG6ADB serves as an interface between the drive and the SCR power bridge. The DS200PCCAG6ADB contains 12 connectors that send and receive signals to the SCR bridge which can be used to configure signals used to control the behavior of the drive.
Before you replace the DS200PCCAG6ADB use the diagnostics and troubleshooting features of the drive to confirm that the board is defective and needs to be replaced. The diagnostics on the drive are accessible from the control panel. The control panel features keys on a keypad that enable the operator to move through a menu of options to access the diagnostics. You can view the diagnostics on the display. Another option is to view the results of the diagnostics on a laptop which has a much larger screen and enables you to view more of the diagnostics at one time. You can also save the results for future use.
Also view the lights on the control panel that indicate the condition of the drive. For example, if an overheat condition has arisen, an indicator light will be lit. In this way, you might determine that the drive is the cause of a problem and not the board.
Once you determine the DS200PCCAG6ADB board must be replaced, consider that only a trained and experienced servicer should work on the replacement of the board. There is a risk of injury from the current in the board and a risk from the moving parts in the drive and surrounding devices.
