Product Description
The DS200PANAH1ABB ARCNET printed circuit board (PCB) from General Electric is a board replacement part designed for use within General Electric’s Mark V turbine control system. The MKV is a Speedtronic system. Speedtronic turbine systems have been used since the 1960s for controlling, monitoring, and protecting gas and steam industrial turbine systems.
The DS200PANAH1ABB is a No-LAN ARCNET board. This is a daughterboard for the UCIA motherboard, and acts as an ARCNET driver. It drives internal communications to I/O cores. It has a single 40-pin connector along with a 64-pin connector. The board itself typically sits within the <R> controller with the TCSA and TCPS boards. The board transfers data via P1 and P2 bus connectors to the Control Engine. These connections initially connect to the UCIA board. The APL and BPL connectors act as ARCNET communication links.
Other board components include hardware jumpers. These are used to set I/O address, memory address, and interrupt for each of the ARCNET channels. Make sure to verify jumper settings to ensure configuration matches your old board before installation begins. The board also includes integrated circuits.
The DS200PANAH1ABB board is factory-drilled to allow for mounting to the UCIA board. Mounting is done via standoffs. The board carries the GE logo, the board ID, and several codes that will help with positioning and wiring. GE manuals will provide additional information.
