Product Description
The DS200LDCCH1AMA card is a drive control LAN (local area network) communications board manufactured by General Electric. This card was originally designed as a member of the Mark V replacement drive board series. Drives from GE’s DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 series can universally accept this board in the drive’s cabinet. A number of key features are provided by this device, including motor, device, and I/O control functions.
The DS200LDCCH1AMA drive control and LAN communications board provides the drive with four microprocessors. Both analog and digital I/O signals sent to the board are processed by the integrated drive control processor (DCP). The onboard LAN control processor (LCP) filters five different LAN system signals sent to the card. The motor control processor (MCP) and the co-motor processor (CMP) work together to process received I/O signals. The initial processing space for digital I/O communications is provided by the MCP. If any additional processing power is required by the signal, then the CMP will provide that excess space. Users can easily access a number of board controls and diagnostics via the attachable alphanumeric keypad.
