Product Description
The GE Inverter Snubber Board DS200IQXSG1A features 8 terminal connectors. The terminals are labeled E1 through E8. The GE Inverter Snubber Board DS200IQXSG1A also contains 1 8-pin connector and 1 film capacitor mounted on the board. The board is 6.25 by 5 inches and it contains 1 screw hole in each corner. The holes are designed to enable you to attach the board in the board rack in the interior of the drive. Before you remove the old board, notice where it is located in the rack and plan on using the same location to install the replacement.
The defective board might have multiple signal wires connected to the wire terminals and when you install the replacement you must install the same wires in the same terminals. The wires carry signals that are transmitted from the board to other components in the drive. Other signal wires receive signals that the GE Inverter Snubber Board DS200IQXSG1A processes before transmitting to other connectors as instructions.
The signal wire terminals have unique IDs that are useful for ensuring that the signal wires are reattached to the right terminals on the replacement board. Before you disconnect the signal wires draw a diagram that shows how the wires are attached to the terminals and identify the terminals by the ID. When you reconnect the wires refer to the diagram to know exactly where each wire attaches. When you connect the drive to power and restart it, you can eliminate the chance of wrong wire connections.
