Product Description

The DS200GSIAG1CDC functions as a GE Common DC bus Regenerative Card.  It is used as part of GE’s Mark V turbine control system, used to monitor and control industrial gas and steam turbines. 

The DS200GSIAG1CDC has several vertical pin connectors along its top edge.  Along with these are cable connectors.   The board has a Xilinx FPGA located near its center along with many other integrated circuits.  Two toroidal transformers are close to one short edge.  Other board components include TP test points, resistors, resistor network arrays, capacitors, transistors, jumper switches, and diodes.   

Circuit boards like the DS200GSIAG1CDC board mount on a core.  The core is a sheet metal housing with internal circuit board carriers, that hold the PCBs in place.  Cores can have a max of five circuit boards mounted inside them.   Operational requirements include an ambient temperature of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius in non-condensing humidity levels between five to 95 percent.   Boards should not be used above 2000 meters and should be protected from radio interference at 27 MHz, 150 MHz, and 480MHz. 

GE Mark V boards meet UL 796 standard as well as ANSI IPC guidelines and ANSI IPC/EIA guidelines.  Additionally, the Mark V system meets UL 580A safety standards for industrial control equipment.   Refer to manuals, user guides, and other GE documentation for additional information.
