DS200DACAG1A Mark V GE TC/DC 2000 AC to DC Converter Board 

The DS200DACAG1A is designed as a component for the GE EX2100 Excitation Control Module.  This module provides field excitation current for generators (gas/steam/hydro)  as a way to control their AC terminal voltage and reactive volt-amperes.  The EX2100’s modular design makes it easy to create a system that works for the user, whether they need to draw from a compound, potential, or auxiliary source, or need simplex or redundant controls.   All options are possible using the EX2100.  The DS200DACAG1A board is no longer manufactured by GE but can be purchased through AX Control as a refurbished/reconditioned unit or as a liquidated never-used part. 

The DS200DACAG1A is used as an AC/DC  converter.  It is powered by a 115 V AC source that is then converted by the circuit board’s components to produce a 125 V DC output.  The board and its corresponding battery source can also provide a redundant VDC supply for the EPDM power board.  If redundancy is needed, two DACA boards can be hooked up to one EPDM.
