DS200DACAG1 TC/DC 2000 AC/DC Converter Board GE Mark V

The DS200DACAG1 is an AC/DC converter board used in GE Speedtronic systems.  This board is most often used within the GE EX2100 Exciter/Excitation Control module that provides field excitation current to control the steam/gas/hydro generator’s AC terminal voltage and their reactive volt-amperes.   This is a modular system that can be designed as a simplex or redundant control unit.  It supports Ethernet LAN communication with other GE equipment including the Control System Toolbox, the OEM operator interface, and the LCI Static Starter.  The DS200DACAG1 is no longer manufactured by GE but is available from AX Control as a reconditioned unit or as liquidated never-used surplus stock. 

The DS200DACAG1 functions as an AC to DC converter.  This is one of several power supply boards within the EX2100.  The DS200DACAG1 board is powered by a 115 VAC source which is then converted by the board to produce a 125 VDC output.  The circuit board and its battery source also provide a redundant 125 VDC supply for the EPDM circuit board.  Two DS200DACAG1 boards can be connected to the EPDM for redundancy backup.
