DS3820PSFE Power Supply for Mark IV 

The DS3820PSFE is a GE Mark IV power supply.  The Mark IV was the third of GE’s Speedtronic systems to be released, and the first of these gas and steam turbine control systems to offer triple modular redundant control, which reduced significantly the amount of downtime caused by equipment issues.   The DS3820PSFE can be purchased from AX Control as either a reconditioned unit that has passed inspection by our in-house technicians or as a new, never-used surplus model.  

The DS3820PSFE is an L-shaped power supply with a wider base and a narrow tower portion.  This unit has both internal and external circuit board components.  The external circuit board has two lines of four female plugs located on its surface.  This side also has two circular openings on its lower edge to allow cables access between the interior and exterior of the unit. The interior circuit boards include high-voltage capacitors, plug components, resistors, switches, transistors, potentiometers, and heat sinks.  Surface wiring is used to connect various parts of the unit together.  Multiple edges of the unit are open to allow for air circulation.
