The DS3820PS5B is one of several power supply modules for the Mark IV system available within AX Control’s inventory.   This unit is a modification that has been built from DS3800 and DS3810 printed circuit boards. 

The DS3820PS5B is designed for use within the Speedtronic Mark IV.  This unit is designed to manage industrial gas and steam turbine systems.   The DS3820PS5B uses integrated microprocessors connected to other boards with the same, to monitor the turbine system for issues such as fire, loss of flame, high pressure, and vibration. 

The DS3820PS5B is built within a metal housing fitted with a plexiglass shield on the top edge.   The metal housing uses several cutouts to maximize ventilation in order to minimize the build-up of heat that might otherwise limit how components function.  Cabling and wiring connect individual components within the module, connecting to round screw-connects and Augat connectors.   Additionally, the until includes several TP test points, an amber LED, and several other board components. 

The original documentation for this unit was provided by the OEM through data sheets, user guides, and product manuals.  These documents will still provide you with the best tech support and guidance as you install and maintain your equipment.  If you no longer have access to your original copies of datasheets or other publications as provided with your original purchase, AX Control may be able to assist with replacements along with your order.
