The DS3800SCG is a PCB or printed circuit board. This PCB was produced for the Mark IV (MKIV) turbine operation system by GE or General Electric. Mark IV can also be called the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark IV is just one system in the extensive Mark series for turbine operation. This system was the third to be released in the Mark series. The Mark IV was made to control as well as automate the operations of both steam and gas turbines. These components protect the turbine and the turbine’s operators from potential harm which could result from operating under unsafe conditions.

Mark IV has been reliable for several decades for providing efficient and safe control of turbines. The Mark I was the first system to be created for the Mark series. The system was first produced in the late 1960s. The Mark IV is based on technologies which have been developed and improved over the past several decades. These technologies have been refined since the late 1940s. The Mark IV automates and controls all aspects of the turbine’s processes, such as startup and shutdown, cooldown, regulating fuel injection (both gas and liquid), and temperature. The Mark IV features its own diagnostic system. The diagnostic system diagnoses any problem with the operation of the turbine equipment and gives the operator information about repairs that need to be performed. Along with the diagnostic system, a built-in printer is also featured on the Mark IV. The MKIV’s printer can print any images from the turbine’s display screen. This printer can also provide a written record of all trips and errors.
