Product Description

The DS3800NTBJ1B1A is a printed circuit board or PCB for the MKIV series.  The MKIV is designed for steam/gas turbine management, and has been built upon triple-redundant backups on all critical controls and parameters.  These backups have two-out-of-three voting, which means that as three identical systems carry out diagnostics, one can fail and the turbine will still keep running.   This allows the operator time to repair and put back into service the section that has a problem.

The DS3800NTBJ1B1A has been built to function as a termination board interface.  Termination boards join wires together with no soldering and are useful for wire termination. The DS3800NTBJ1B1A has been built with markings for alignment along two edges and drill-marks in all corners as well as two through its center axis.

The DS3800NTBJ1B1A  has very few components on the board surface.  The board is built with two screw terminal adapters that each have twelve positions on their surface.  One of these adapters is labeled TBA, the other TBB. There are three PCB mating connectors, which are all male vertical pin connectors.   These correspond to the terminal adapters and are labeled to reflect this. JA is a 10-pin connector and corresponds to TBA. JB is also a 10-pin connector, but it corresponds to TBB.  JC is a 26-pin connector, which corresponds to both TBA and TBB. While both adapters have all positions numbered, it is worth noting that TBA is numbered right to left while TBB is numbered from left to right.
