Product Description

The DS3800NTBH1A1A is a PCB (printed circuit board) created by GE for the Mark IV series.  The MKIV is a control system for gas or steam turbine management. It has an improved operator interface and more application flexibility compared to previous GE management systems like the Mark I and Mark II.  The MKIV can control such features as startup, temperature, turbine protection, control sequencing, speed, and turbine shutdown. The MKIV uses distributed control functions based on microcomputers to manage and minimize the turbine outage rate, which is significantly less than in previous systems.  

The DS3800NTBH1A1A works as a termination board.  Termination boards are designed to join wires together without the use of solder. They are helpful for wire interfacing and termination. They can also make connecting small parts to the system easier.

The top layer of the DS3800NTBH1A1A is printed with a waffle pattern.  All factory drillings avoid this layer. DIN rails have been connected to the board using screw mountings on the left and right edges, as well as three screw mounts in the center of the board.  

The DS3800NTBH1A1A is built with five components.  This includes three mating connectors for communicating with other printed circuit boards.  All three of these components are vertical male connectors. The other two components on the board are two seventeen-position screw terminal adapters.  These are placed parallel to each other and to the short edges of the board. The component on the right side is marked TBA. This is individually marked with numbers from top to bottom. The component on the right side is marked TBB and is individually marked with numbers from bottom to top.
