Product Description

The DS3800NRTA1A1A is a PCB built by GE for the Mark IV series.  This series replaced General Electric’s previous Speedtronic series, the MKI, and MKII.  The MKIV is built across multiple integrated platforms run by microprocessors. These platforms all monitor the turbine system continuously and use a two-out-of-three voting system to make all major decisions on critical controls and parameters.  The MKIV monitors the turbine for such issues as high pressure, over-speed, vibration, and fire.

There are twenty-six circuits located on the surface of  DS3800NRTA1A1A, as well as one jumper switch and fourteen potentiometers.  The potentiometers used on the DS3800NRTA1A1A are trim potentiometers, which can be used to calibrate, tune, or adjust circuits.  The board also has eight transistors.

The DS3800NRTA1A1A can communicate with other PCBs through one right-angled female connector.  This is marked 218A4551-1 AMP 102041-1 8415. It can also communicate with other boards through its one right-angled 13-pin male mating connector.

The DS3800NRTA1A1A is built using several kinds of resistors and capacitors.  Resistors on the board include metal film and carbon composite. Capacitors include aluminum electrolytic, polyester vinyl, and fixed vacuum.
