Product Description

GE created the DS3800NRFA1F1E ramp and follower board for their Mark IV series.  This series manages steam/gas turbine systems. It can improve the efficiency of steam/gas turbine systems by automating standard procedures like start up and shut down.  It can also be used to monitor fuel, air, and water emissions.

The DS3800NRFA1F1E is built to accept an optional auxiliary board (DS3800DRFA.)  If installed, this optional board allows access to more components, including potentiometers.  The DS3800DRFA connects to the DS3800NRFA1F1E by way of nineteen board-to-board pins. These are located in a line parallel to the right side of the board.  

The DS3800NRFA1F1E has the following specifications:

• It has eight red LEDs. LEDs are individually marked.  

• It has six test points.  These are marked TP 0 through TP 5.

• It has one 28-pin (female) Augat connector.

• It has one transistor.

• It has one PCB mating connector (218A4553-1 Amp.)

• It has 31 circuits, including hex inverting gates.

• It is built with metal film resistors and ceramic and polyester film capacitors.  

The DS3800NRFA1F1E has been alignment marked and factory-drilled at all corners.  Extractors are installed in both right corners. These clips are designed to protect the components and circuits on the board by giving technicians a lever point during extraction and a handle during insertion, especially when working conditions are tight.
