Product Description

The DS3800NGRA1F1F from General Electric is a PCB designed as a component for the Mark IV series. This series, which was originally created for gas or steam turbine management, has the capability of automating some procedures for efficiency, such as shutdown and startup.  Emissions monitoring (air/fuel/water) can also be maintained through the Mark IV.

The DS3800NGRA1F1F is designed as a regulator board.  The board is composed of twenty-five circuits. This includes three envelope terminals.  The board also uses hex inverters, analog switches, dual re-triggerable one shots, precision amplifiers, and voltage comparators.  The voltage comparators can drive MOS, DTL, RTL or TTL logic. The output can also switch voltages to 50 V at currents to 50 mA, which means the voltage comparators can be used to drive relays, solenoids, or lamps.  

The DS3800NGRA1F1F has four right-angled mating connectors for communicating with other PCBs.  There are two of these right-angled connectors on each of the short edges of the board. Each connector is marked 218A4637, and each edge has one P4 connector and one P6 connector.  

The DS3800NGRA1F1F is built with resistors, capacitors, and diodes.  Larger capacitors on this board (80V, 100V, 200V,) tend to be polyester film capacitors, but the board also makes use of both ceramic and fixed vacuum capacitors.   Most resistors on the board are made of ceramic-covered metal film.
