Product Description

The GE Power Excitation Board DS3800NEPB1G1E can only operate when installed in a power control module. The board must be connected to a motor excitation board.  Pins JE6 and JE9 are used to transmit signals to a differential operational amplifier. The signals originate from two 100 to 1 attenuators.

All printed circuit boards that you install in the equipment in the industrial site are fragile and must be treated carefully. First, carry the boards by holding the from the edges. The components on the boards might be damaged, broken off, or disconnected. You must also be careful of the solder points on the boards. Never touch the solder points with your bare hands to avoid contaminating the surface of the solder points and the components. It is best practice to keep the boards in the box in which you receive them until you are ready to install them.

The boards are always contained in static resistant material. Static can accumulate on the boards and the charge can damage the components on the boards and when installed, can harm the module. Always keep the boards in the resistant material until you want to install the boards.

Environmental specifications are available that provide guidelines about how warm the room should be. If the site is too hot, the devices might be subject to an over temperature condition. This condition will cause the devices to shutdown to prevent damage to the components. Another result of conditions that are too hot is unreliable operation or the excessive heat might cause the components to become defective.
