Product Description

The DS3800NDMA1D1B is a printed circuit board from General Electric. It is designed as a Div Multiply Card within the Mark IV Speedtronic series. The Mark IV, which was created for steam and gas turbine control management, relies upon integrated chipsets built with intentional redundancies to reduce downtime caused by electronics failure.

The DS3800NDMA1D1B is a factory-drilled board that has extractor clips installed. Extractor clips are designed to use lever action or mechanical force to help the technician remove the board from restricted spaces without touching the circuitry. The board is alignment marked, and also marked along its edge "NDMA 6FA03," and "6BA04."

The DS3800NDMA1D1B can accept a daughter board (DS3800DDMA1A1A.) DS3800NDMA1D1B has four nylon pins in place to support the corners of this daughter board. There are also twenty brass nickel-plated PCB vertical pins attached to the board to help lock the daughter board into place.

The DS3800NDMA1D1B has two light emitting diodes on its right edge. One of these LEDs is red, the other amber. Next to these are fourteen test points. The opposite edge of the board is populated with one male connector designed to communicate with other PCBs (218A4553-1 AMP.)

The DS3800NDMA1D1B has ten trim potentiometers and multiple metal film resistors. It is built with several capacitors, including a larger polyester (yellow) capacitor marked 708A1 100V M/e 10.0 +/- 5%. The board also has six jumper switches, 26 integrated circuits, and two PCB reinforcement bars. These bars are in accordance with IEEE recommendations.
