Product Description

General Electric created the DS3800NASB1B1C PCB as a part of their Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV, which was designed for steam and gas turbine control, was designed with two-out-of-three voting redundancies on all critical controls and protection parameters in the system. In this way, the Mark IV maximizes efficiency and minimizes downtime.

The DS3800NASB1B1C has been built:

• -with factory drilled holes for mounting options. These include two holes per corner, another drill hole set slightly off from each corner, and a final hole placed dead-center of the PCB.

• -with alignment markings along two edges. This includes letters (A-J) and numbers (10-80.) It is marked 6BA03.

• -with a 12-prong male connector along its right edge.

• -with 2-prong male connectors placed on three edges. These are 90 degree connectors.

• -with 5-prong male connectors lined up together along its top edge. There are four connectors.

• -with three transistors.

• -with 14 test points. While TP1 through TP10 sit parallel to the bottom edge of the board, they are not sequential.

• -with seven ceramic Ceramite disc capacitors

• -with one capacitor (yellow) 708D1 600VDC

• -with two trimmer potentiometers.

• -with two HiPot transformers. Max operating temperature is 155 degrees Celsius.

• -with seven integrated circuits.
