Product Description

The DS3800NADB1D1D is a 12-bit analog/digital converter card manufactured by GE. This printed circuit board is a component in a Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV is designed for gas and steam turbine control and can sequence turbine systems and their auxiliaries for automatic start up, shut down and cool down procedures. It can also be used for air and fuel emissions control.

The DS3800NADB1D1D works as the motherboard for a small daughter board (DS3800DADB.) When this auxiliary is installed the capacitance of the DS3800NADB1D1D is increased through the use of the eight 708A1 200V M/e capacitors populating that board.

The DS3800NADB1D1D has one LED (amber.) It is built with three TP test points and 16 spare PTHs. The top edge of the board is marked for alignment. The board is factory drilled. It has mounting hardware in place for its daughter board. There are board extractors in place in both right side corners.

The DS3800NADB1D1D has been built with both ceramic covered film resistors and with adjustable voltage potentiometers. There are several jumper switches, which allow for some customization of the board. J1 allows changes in the range. J2 changes parity. J3 changes OSC.
