Product Description

The DS3800NADB1D1C is a printed circuit board from GE. It functions as a 12-bit analog/digital converter card for the Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV, which is designed for gas and steam turbine control, is made up of integrated chipsets with overlapping responsibilities. The Mark IV can be used to sequence the turbine system and its auxiliaries for completely automatic start up, shut down, and cool down.

The DS3800NADB1D1C has a small auxiliary board (DS3800DADB) which--when installed--increases the capacitance of its motherboard. The DS3800DADB is built with eight (708A1 200V M/e) capacitors. It is connected to the DS3800NADB1D1C via a ribbon cable connector.

The DS3800NADB1D1C is built with one amber LED. It has three test points (com/sync/aout) and eight sets of spare PTHs. The edges of the board are marked for alignment and identification (NADB 6DA02, 6BA04.) It is factory-drilled for mounting options and has board extractors installed in both right-hand corners.

The DS3800NADB1D1C is built with ceramic covered metal film resistors. It also has two potentiometers. These allow for adjustable voltage division. There are multiple jumper switches, which allow the user to customize the board as needed. J1 customizes the range of the board. J2 customizes parity. J3 customizes OSC.
