Product Description
DS3800HXRB1D1D is a C bus receiver circuit board made for the Speedtronic Mark IV Series. DS3800HXRB1D1D was produced by General Electric. Mark IV, as well as its predecessor systems including Mark I and Mark II, were designed to control gas and steam turbines.
The DS3800HXRB1D1D is largely taken up by a series of 30 integrated circuits. Many capacitors which are different colors and sizes are located around the board. In the bottom left corner of the DS3800HXRB1D1D is a switch which is red in color. Immediately adjacent to that switch is a line of 3 LEDs, which stands for light-emitting diodes. The lights of the LEDs are red and light up when in use. On one side of the board, there are 3 "male" connector ports. With these ports, the operator has the ability to connect other electronic components or to connect the DS3800HXRB1D1D board to another card. On one side of the card is a resistor network. A resistor network is a device which contains within it several resistors in a line. The resistance of each resistor inside adds up to the total resistance of the resistor network. Many other resistors are also seen around the board. These resistors are banded in different colored bands depending on their resistance capabilities. Several jumpers pins and accompanying blue jumpers enable a user to connect the pins in order to change the functions of the board.
