The GE Series 6 Receiver Board DS3800HXRA1E1E supports the daughter card by supplying power to the card. The card cannot be installed in the board rack in the interior of the drive. It can only be installed on top of the board. The board has 4 plastic standoffs for installing the card. The standoffs prevent the card from touching the board while it provides a secure hardware installation.
The current for the card is carried through the 34-pin ribbon cable that is attached to the card.
