The board is also populated with multiple electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules and 1 amber indicator LED.
When the original board is assembled at the factory it is sent with fully functional modules. The modules are loaded with the latest firmware and instruction code. The amber LED is visible to the operator while the drive is in normal operations. When power is first applied to the board, the board performs some start up tests and if the tests are passed, the amber LED is on.
