Product Description

General Electric manufactured the DS3800HXMA1L1K as an expander printed circuit board module. This PCB fits into GE's Mark IV Speedtronic system, designed for gas and steam turbine control. The Mark IV controls every part of a gas or steam turbine system and can protect it from such unsafe operation conditions as over-temp and over-speed. The Mark IV can also be used for such functions as fuel, air and emissions control, and for sequencing turbines for start-up, shut-down and cool down procedures.

The DS3800HXMA1L1K has been designed with the following specs:

• It has resistor network arrays (four.) These may be for voltage dividers or for conversion.

• It has one TP (test point.) The TP is positioned near the one (red) LED.

• It has been marked on the edge of the PCB "6BA11" and A through J.

• It has one female connector positioned on its left edge. This is marked 218A4553-1 A-mp 533002-1. Behind this connector the board is marked 2, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80.

• It has fifteen jumpers. Jumpers allow the user to customize the PCB. The jumper switches on the DS3800HXMA1L1K are positioned in five groupings and are labeled Test, LS1 through LS4, FS1 through FS4, LAB8 through LAB5, and FAB5/FAB6.

• Ceramic metal film resistors are primarily used on this PCB.

• It has been built with 35 integrated circuits. This includes EPROMs, DIP components, and rewritable memory chips.
