Product Description

The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD1S1G features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with multiple capacitors. The board is populated with multiple transistor-transistor logic devices. The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD1S1G is also populated with 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED. The board also has 1 socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules. The board is also populated with 3 trimmer resistors.

The 16 red indicator LEDs can be used to monitor the board while it is in operation. The operator can monitor the operation of the board at a high level by inspecting the red LEDs and noting if they are flashing. However, the red LEDs are assigned IDs that indicate what circuit or activity the LEDs are associated with. If the operator is monitoring a specific circuit or activity, the operator can refer to the printed information about the board and read the descriptions of the LEDs. From that the operator can pinpoint which LEDs to monitor. Equipped with that information, the operator can monitor the exact LEDs that indicate activity on the circuit in question.

The amber LED does not monitor the activity of a circuit or function. Instead it indicates if a problem has been identified with the board. Any problem will cause a warning or an error to be logged in the diagnostic report. When you produce a diagnostic report, 1 section describes all the errors and warnings.
