Product Description

The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with a multiple capacitors. The board is populated with multiple transistor-transistor logic devices. The GE High Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD is also populated with 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED.  The board also has 1 socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules. The board is also populated with 3 trimmer resistors.

The red indicator LEDs are situated on the board between the retention levers. The operator can monitor the operation of the board while the board is processing and is receiving current. The red indicator LEDs are on when activity is taking place on the circuit the LED is associated with. When the red indicator LEDs are off, there is no activity taking place or because current is removed from the board. To diagnose the condition of the drive and pinpoint why activity has stopped, use the diagnostic programs.

The drive is equipped with a control panel with a 2-line display and a keypad. The keys enable the operator to navigate through a series of menus. The menus enable the user to select to modify the parameters that control the drive operations. The editing function is suitable for minor updates to the parameters. This is due to the small display and the limited editing function provided by the keypad. The operator can also select to run the diagnostic programs. The menus are the user-interface to select the diagnostic programs.
