The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1A is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with 8 red indicator LEDs and 1 reset toggle switch. The analog/digital converter is a component embedded on the board. It converts the analog signals to a digital format. The digital format is used for signal processing throughout the drive. The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1A is also populated with 1 amber indicator LED.

Embedded on the GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1A are also relay switches. The relays are electromechanical devices that switch the signal off and on in response to a control signal. When the relay switch is on the red indicator  LED associated with the relay flashes. In this way, the operator will know if processing is taking place on the board. If flashing has stopped, it indicates that a problem might have occured with the board.

The first repair action is to turn the board off and on to see if the control signals are out of synchronization. With great care to avoid a serious shock, do not touch other components in the board and move the toggle to the left as indicated on the board. This stops processing for a few seconds while current is still available in the board. The board restarts processing which also restarts the control signals.
