The GE Pulse Rate Input Board DS3800HPRB1C1B is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board also is populated with 1 programmable interrupt controller, multiple programmable interval timer devices, and multiple capacitors.

The board and the drive are engineered so that the right wiring connections are made between the board and the drive without intervention by the installer. The modular connectors are used in conjunction with the retention levers. The board contains no connectors for attaching cables so no cabling of ribbon cables is necessary. Align the board inside the rack and slide it into the rack until the module connectors meet at the bottom of the rack. At the same time, make sure the components on the board do not scrape against the rack or other boards in the rack. Use your thumbs to press the board into the rack. This also presses the modular connectors together. Then, press down on the levers to retain the board in the rack.
