The DS3800HPIB1G1E is a board that is part of in the Speedtronic Mark IV Turbine Series. This board is rather large in size and is produced by General Electric (GE). The DS3800HPIB1G1E General Electric’s seal and was made in America. The DS3800HPIB1G1E has around sixty banded resistors. The bands identify them as a resistor and how much energy they can contain. There are almost seventy different diodes of varying types and colors. The range in color from silver, blue, and faint orange. There are six black components as well with one flat side. The DS3800HPIB1G1E also has eight brick red towers. There are also eight slim golden yellow capacitors. The DS3800HPIB1G1E has a lot of data and programming storage with the combination of forty-six EEPROM and EPROMs. If the data needs to be upgraded it can be done through the EPROM. The board also features labels along the side to match up where is fits in the existing system. One side is labeled one through eight while the other is marked A through J. To secure the DS3800HPIB1G1E in place there are twelve places to put in a screw mount. There are over thirty-five red LEDs on the face of the board. There is also a small switch. The DS3800HPIB1G1E comes with a total of nine separate connection points for different wiring harnesses. All connection points are compatible with a female harness.
